Getting to the Festival

Renovations on the amazing, new Riverfront Park have begun and we are so excited, but construction has changed some familiar paths and access points. Use the map below to get to and from the festival.

All patrons will be handed a map with schedule and performance times upon entry to the festival.

  • Where is this event being held?

    WSCLF will be held inside of Spokane Riverfront Park, mainly in the Clock Tower Meadow, Lilac Bowl and East Havermale Point. The event entrance is located at intersection of the north end of the Howard Street bridge (under construction) and the western most point of the Clock Tower Meadow.

  • Where can I purchase tickets and what are the ticket options?

    You can purchase tickets in the following ways:

    Our website:  Click the “Buy Tickets Now” button. Then follow the prompts to select a date, enter your quantity and select the ticket type.

    Ticket Booth: The ticket booth and event entrance are the same. They are located at intersection of the north end of the Howard Street bridge (under construction) and the western most point of the Clock Tower Meadow. The ticket booth opens at 4:30 daily and closes half an hour before the end of the event (see festival hours below).

    Ticket options are:

    Adult: $15

    Children under 16: $10

    Children 3 and under: FREE

    Family Pass (one-time entry for 2 Adult and 2 Youth): $40

    Festival Pass (unlimited admission for one person for the duration of the festival): $60

  • Tell me about your discount days.

    We offer discount days for seniors, military and college students: $2 discount off of regular admission. Must be purchased in person on the specified discount day. ID required.

    Tuesday: Senior discount day (65+)

    Wednesday: Military discount day

    Thursday: College discount day

  • Do you offer group tickets and tours?

    We have a team that will be happy to take your order any day of the week from 10am -8pm; contact the call center at 509.625.6640.    

    School/Educational Groups:

    Tours scheduled: Monday-Friday 10AM-2PM

    Group minimum: 15 people

    $5   Student (16 year old or younger)

    $10 Adults

    Reservations include:

    Viewing of the documentary and show

    Snacks and lunches can be ordered through Riverfront Park.  

  • What are the festival hours?

    Sunday - Thursday 5pm - 10pm. Friday & Saturday 5pm - 11pm.

  • Do I need to make a reservation?

    No reservations are necessary.  Tickets can be purchased the day-of at the ticket booth at the festival entrance.  You can also purchase your tickets in advance on our website or through the call center at 509-625-6640.

  • I’ll be coming from out of town, where can I stay?

  • I have a disability - will I be able to attend?

    For those individuals needing wheel chair access, the event utilizes the preexisting pathways in the park.  There will also be ADA restrooms available.

  • What buses stop near the event?

    Stops on our perimeter:

    #27, 39: Washington Street & North River Drive

    #25: Spokane Falls Boulevard

    Stops nearest the park:

    #1: Mallon Avenue, near the Flower Mill

    #24 & 22: Monroe Street & Broadway Avenue

    The Spokane Transit Authority downtown terminal is in walking distance from the park.  Please call 328.7433 for route and schedule information.

  • Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

    This is an outdoor event, rain, snow or shine. Please check current weather conditions for your visit and dress appropriately.

  • What are ticket prices?

    Adults: $15

    Children under 16: $10

    Kids 3 & under: FREE

    Family Pass ( one-time admission for 2 youth & 2 adult): $40

    Festival Pass (unlimited access for one person for the duration of the festival): $60

  • What does the ticket admission include?

    Admission includes entry into the festival for viewing all lanterns and authentic Chinese performances. Food booths and trucks will be available after entry into the festival offering cuisine for purchase.

  • What and when are the Chinese performances?

    The Chinese performances include Plate Spinning, Chinese contortionist, Diabolo (string and dowel artist), Kungfu/Wushu, and Acrobatics.

    There are two performances every night: Sunday through Thursday 6:30pm & 8:30pm, Friday & Saturday 7pm & 9pm.

  • What food and beverage choices do you offer?

    Food trucks and booths serving authentic Chinese cuisine and American favorites will be available during festival hours inside the festival.

    Food vendors include:

    • Have Beans will Travel - Espresso
    • Eggroll Express – Asian noodles
    • Seely Teriyaki – Teriyaki
    • Crate Food Truck – fresh, seasonal street food
    • Kettle Corn


  • Where can I park?

    There are plenty of parking options around the event site. You can park at Riverfront Park parking lots off Division, east of the Flour Mill, or off Post Street across from City Hall. Our partner, River Park Square, provides lots of indoor parking. Also, if you get here after 7pm, you can take advantage of free street parking!

  • Do you have a ‘Lost and Found’?

    We will have all lost and found items handled at the Guest Services booth by the Fountain Café Ticket Booth in Riverfront Park. For lost children, please make sure to check out the Pandas or Dinosaurs area first.

  • Where can I sit to view performances?

    There will be seating available in front of the main stage.

  • Do you allow animals?

    For the enjoyment of all those attending this event, we do not allow animals except for registered service animals.

  • Can I smoke onsite?

    This event is a smoke free event. No smoking of any kind will be allowed. This includes vaping.

  • If I cannot attend, can I get a refund for my tickets?

    We do not offer refunds for unused tickets.
